This piece represents the riparian restoration efforts of the neighborhood and a few of the species that would benefit.

Inspired by the curves and functionality of a jet engine, this sculpture provides a very subtle fountain effect inside of hand-cut and shaped bronze forms.
The inner tube fills with water and creates a large reflective pool on the top before the water rushes down the side. Surface tension keeps the water stuck to the side of the tube and gives a complex soothing sound.
Three LED light clusters are mounted to the tube and provide uplight to the basin area of the sculpture, while a light in the center of the water tube illuminates the inner body of water. These lights showcase the sculpture at night but can also be projected onto walls and ceilings as they lightly flicker from the splashing water.

Somewhat figure sculpture, somewhat sculptural form. The clean lines and overall twist form the abstract figure that exists among the holes. This piece incorporates LED lights to provide subtle warm tones on the exterior and a cool white in the center.
